Ok so I think that an application called PlayBox CaptureBox seems to fit what we're technically trying to do. As far as I've found, it allows you to record a video feed, and play it back in real time. Logistically, we need certain hardware to run it with. They are:
- Blackmagic DeckLink line (MPEG2 or DV SD)
- Blackmagic DeckLink HD Extreme (MPEG2 SD or HD, DV SD)
- Deltacast DeltaASI line (MPEG2 or H.264, SD or HD)
- Ethernet LAN (MPEG2 or H.264, SD or HD)
